About the Conference

The International Conference on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Economy will take place for the third time (following the years 2018 and 2022), on 31st of May 2024 in Szeged, organized by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Szeged.

The main objectives of the ICOSTEE conference include providing opportunities for the dissemination of the latest scientific; creating a platform for researchers and industry professionals to discuss the outcomes of previous developments and identify new focus areas of research and development.

The planned sections of ICOSTEE include the artificial intelligence and automatization, economics, emerging energy technologies, environmental sciences and technology, food safety and microbiology, food science and technology, machinery, marketing and management and measurement techniques.

The new challenges of the 21st century make it necessary to establish closer cooperation between universities, research institutions, industrial partners, legislators, authorities and non-governmental organisations. In order to meet the challenges of our present and future, a complex and effective solutions are required.

To offer these solutions and address emerging issues, a multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving has been essential. It is necessary for the science and industry to collaborate in a way that prioritizes both economic and environmental, as well as sustainability considerations. Therefore, we have not narrowed the scopes of our conference. The involvement of the younger generation is essential in addressing future challenges. Hence, at the conferences, we welcome the research and development results as well as new ideas from students and PhD candidates alongside experienced researchers and industry professionals.
