József Sárosi – discussed the possibilities of student and teaching staff mobility after the pandemic, and it remains a goal for the Faculty of Engineering to play an outstandingly active role in the CEEPUS Program on a national scale. We are pleased to see that in our partner institutions and with their cooperation opportunities open up for our students and lecturers that can be integrated into our students’ training program, thus deepening their professional knowledge and practical competencies. The guest lecturers held English-language classes for several days for engineering students on topics in their fields of expertise, and responded to students’ inquiring questions.

The CEEPUS Program is a cooperation between the countries of Central and Eastern Europe offering opportunities for short- and long-term student and teaching staff mobility. With funding provided by the respective host country, it is possible to acquire scientific, educational and professional knowledge in the educational, business and cultural environment of another country. The partnership network of the Faculty of Engineering consists of more than 100 partner universities, which is a significant step leading our institution towards internationalization.

The next deadline for submission of proposals is the end of October, 2021, providing an opportunity for our students and lecturers to travel and at the same time acquire knowledge and exchange competencies at an international level. The next international meeting is scheduled for March, 2022, when a significant number of Erasmus and CEEPUS students and teaching staff is expected to participate.
